BACKRHODES, based out of Arkansas City, Kansas, is a group of musician friends that decided to group together to build a set of diverse "road-trip" songs filled with Rock & Country favorites,
while continuing to create original music as well.

Chris Rhodes

Lead Vocals & Guitar

Rhodes has loved music since he can remember. Influenced by several different genres and always singing along, it wasn't until age 18 that he began playing drums. Quickly realizing he was learning guitar much quicker as he'd strum on a friend's acoustic, he started writing his own riffs and eventually songs. Playing in many different styles of bands over the years, he finally hit a Milestone in the early 2000's while sponsored by Jagermeister and performing as the frontman of metal band Kaotic Circle. Opening for National acts, such as Staind, Skinlab & Lacuna Coil to name a few.
"These days, BACKRHODES has given me the opportunity to hang out with the best of friends while still creating music and having a great time. I couldn't do it without this awesome group of brothers. We just want others to leave our show with a smile on their face and unable to forget the experience. Music unites us all."

Lead Guitar & Vocals

Ricky has played guitar since he was 10 years old, His influences are Edward Van Halen, SRV, Steve Vai, and Jimmie Page.

Jeff Green

Bad Ass Drummer

Jeff has been playing drums for 35 plus years. Have played with numerous local bands. Jeff has also played on stage with Frank Hannon from Tesla, and his band. Nickname Jeffro.

K.C. Wright

Sound man & back up vocals

K.C. has experience in live sound production in theater and local small venues.
With 5 years of show choirs in High school and collage, K.C. brings his talent to the band and gives more depth with backup vocals.
